Where I Speak
I live in Mayfield, Kentucky, and I speak all over the country. Two hours away or two time zones away, you are getting the same guy.
I do not have a territory. I have a calendar. If your date is open on it, the only question left is whether I am the right fit for your people.
Tell me the city. I will tell you what it takes to get me there.
Check My Availability
Travel is quoted with your fee, in writing, before you commit to anything.
Travel, Stated Plainly
Distance is a line on an invoice. It is not a measure of whether I am the right speaker for your room.
So here is exactly how I travel, whether you are an hour from my driveway or on the other side of the country.
If I am speaking in the morning, I am in your city the night before. Weather and traffic do not get a vote in whether your general session starts on time.
You get one travel number from me in writing before you commit to anything, and it does not move after you sign. I am probably not the cheapest name on your list. I am not trying to be. I would rather you know exactly what it costs, book me anyway, and find out I was worth it.
I am the neighbor no matter where you live. Two minutes away or two time zones away, you are getting the same guy.
Cities and Drive Times
Every one of these is a drive, not a flight. Times are approximate and measured from Mayfield, Kentucky.
Home state
Straight down the parkway
Across the river
Up I-57
Up US-41
Still an easy drive
Do not see your town on here? Ask anyway. This list is a sample, not a boundary. Half the places I speak are nowhere on a list like this.
No Territory
The drive times on this page are logistics. They are not a ranking, and they are not a discount rack. Nobody has ever gotten a lesser version of me because they were close, and nobody gets a better one because they were far.
Phoenix. Orlando. Fargo. Seattle. A state I have never set foot in. If your event is nowhere near Kentucky, I fly, and I speak nationwide. Outside the country, same answer. Ask.
How many of you have gone looking for a speaker and quietly crossed somebody off because of a map? Do not do that here. If I am the right fit for your room, the distance is a travel line on an invoice and nothing else.
This is what I know. The right message in the right room is worth getting there for. Tell me the city and the date. If it is open, I want it.
Rooms I Know Well
Western Kentucky is farm country. It is factory country. It is church-on-Sunday country. The rooms I stand in around here are full of people who work with their hands, run family businesses, sit on the school board, and know their neighbors by name.
Those folks can smell a canned motivational speech from the back row. So I do not give one. I tell the truth, I tell on myself, and I send people home believing they can make somebody’s day better tomorrow.
Regional Proof
I am not the speaker who flew in, gave the talk, and left before the dessert plates got cleared. The people who have booked me are people I run into at the grocery store. That is a different kind of accountability, and it shows up in the work.
“When I think about what Paul brings to the table, four words come to mind: Dynamic. Relatable. Impactful. Real. I’ve had the privilege of a personal relationship with Paul for over 25 years. He is the real deal.”

Questions Planners Actually Ask
Anywhere. That is the short answer, and I want it said plainly before the long one.
I am based in Mayfield, Kentucky. I drive to events within roughly five hours and I fly to everything else. The drive times on this page tell you how I get there. They do not tell you where I am willing to go, because the answer to that is anywhere.
Inside about three hours I come and go the same day. Past that, I come in the night before if you have me on a stage in the morning.
Inside three hours, mileage. Between three and five, mileage plus one hotel night before a morning session. Farther out, a coach ticket, one hotel night, and a ride to and from the airport, billed at cost with receipts and never marked up.
You get that number in writing along with your fee, before you commit to anything, and it does not move after you sign. No surprises on the invoice. That is not how I want to be remembered.
Yes. Paducah, Nashville, Memphis, Evansville, Bowling Green, Jackson, Clarksville, Cape Girardeau, Marion, and anything else inside about three hours, I drive in early and drive home that evening.
Louisville, St. Louis, Lexington, Indianapolis, and points farther out, I come in the night before. Two reasons. Your 8:00 a.m. general session should never depend on my windshield. And nobody gets my best hour and a half on the back end of a five hour drive.
Yes. Keynotes and Ziglar Legacy workshops both work virtually, and they get tailored to your audience the same way an in-person session does. It is a good option when your team is spread across several locations.
Most events land three to nine months ahead. Short notice is always worth a phone call anyway.
If a speaker cancels on you three weeks before your conference, call me. Wherever you are. The worst thing I can tell you is no.
Not much. A lavalier mic, slides run from your house computer, and a podium if you have one. Everything else your team will ask about is on the meeting planner resources page, along with my bio, headshots, and a stage introduction you can read as written.
Let’s Talk
Give me your city, your date, and what you want your people walking out thinking. I read every one of these myself and I will get back to you personally. There is no office between us. You will be talking to me.
