Lead Big. Love Big. Laugh Big. A high-energy keynote about living like you’re loved, and leading like it matters, in the rooms you’re already standing in.
What This Keynote Is About
A child running across the yard with both arms thrown wide open.
I saw it more times than I can count. I’d pull in the driveway after work and Matt, Zach, and Kelsey would come flying across that yard, arms out, already leaned in. They weren’t hoping to be caught. They knew they would be. Nobody teaches a kid to run like that. That’s just what children do when they know they’re loved.
Somewhere between that yard and the office, most of us quit running like that. We start walking into rooms from a place of proving instead of belonging. We hold a little back. We keep the guard up. And we call it being professional.
Those same arms tell a second story. Jesus on the cross, stretched out as wide as they go, saying: Paul, I love you this much. Everything else I’ve got is built on that.
What’s the point of me telling you that? This is what I know. How you see yourself walks into the room before you do. Your team feels it. Your family feels it. The person behind the counter feels it. You cannot give away what you don’t believe you have.
Live Life BIG is about living that way on purpose. It moves fast, it’s honest, there’s a lot of laughing, and it does not end with a poster. It ends with your people walking back into the rooms they were already standing in. Their teams. Their families. Their communities. Ready to make a difference right where they are.
“You cannot give away what you don’t believe you have.”
Paul Chappell · Live Life BIGHow It Moves
Leadership is not a title on a door. Desmond Doss walked onto Hacksaw Ridge without a weapon and carried seventy-five men off of it. Passion. Conviction. Integrity. Consistency. Character. Humility. Paul names all six inside the story, then asks the room which one they’ve been getting by without.
Legacy is not what you leave to people. It’s what you leave in them. Paul stops the keynote and has the room text four words to the person who shaped them. Not later that week. Right then, phones out, while he waits. It takes about a minute and the room does not sound the same afterward.
We live in a cat-kicking world. Somebody gets chewed out at nine and it lands on a kid at six. Paul’s challenge is simple: be where it stops. Joy is a decision you make before the day has given you a reason for it, and it is the most underrated leadership skill in the building.
The Takeaway
Who It’s Built For
Every keynote is tailored to your audience, your industry, and what your people need to hear. Tell Paul what the room is carrying and he will build toward it.
What Clients Say
“Paul brings a passion and intensity to everything he does: his work, his faith, his family, his relationships, and he does it in a way that’s uplifting rather than overwhelming. He has a gift for taking real-life experiences, including the difficult ones, and drawing out lessons that resonate regardless of your background or beliefs. His faith is woven into who he is, not layered on top, and that authenticity is exactly what people are starving for right now. In a world where so much feels manufactured, Paul is the real thing. If you get the chance to hear him speak, take it.”
